| Report: | Match was played in great spirit - a lovely bunch of lads and all hitting with pace and very similar in performance across the Nominations.
Guy Evans was in the running but his known fluency was not seen this early in the season. This "known-known" is superior than the "unknown-unknown" and we know his skillset will blast away all-comers right around the corner!
Lucy Cox made her opponent earn it but the brutal young Leyburn male pace was too much upon occasion. Lucy had chances to finish two games and was unlucky to do so. She played "proper Squash" throughout and was the classiest player on the night.
Tom McKay was blowing out his arse from the start and will soon drop down the Nom's at Xmas.
Chris Armstrong suffered a return of ongoing injury which presently and massively affected his game - which is very unfortunate. he won his first game and has the tools to do damage when not held back.
Big Kev Whitfield showed superior mental strength to eek out the small gaps and through fortitude create success using his indominable willpower. |
